Caretaker of Water and People
Desalcott continues to lead the charge in reshaping the future of water security, not just in Trinidad and Tobago but across the Caribbean. For the 2024 CWWA Annual Conference and Exhibition and the Caribbean Science Symposium on Water, we partnered once again to produce a suite of dynamic videos that positioned Desalcott as a thought leader in desalination technology and environmental stewardship. These videos showcased their commitment to sustainable solutions, aligning with the conferences’ focus on climate resilience, zero waste, and innovative water management. Through impactful storytelling and a sharp focus on their expertise, Desalcott’s presence at these events reinforced their role as a catalyst for change in the region’s water future.
Video
The videos were all scripted to connect on several levels. At surface the videos are informational and are meant to convey their messages directly and concisely. Beyond that the visuals are tailored to facilitate connection to the public as well as others in the industry across several touch points, using a variety of visual storytelling techniques. Further, all of the videos are filled with visual effects done to enhance the script. They are unobtrusive and indeed one would be hard presed to identify which elements are CGI. The results of careful planning are visuals that elegantly reach their targets.
Music
The music scores are dynamic, slowly building in intensity. The pieces are performed by live musicians organically responding to each other. We also incorporated a substantial amount of sound design and synthesis to augment the pieces. The result are scores that breathe, full of nuance, and deeply connected.
