I Want Everything In Black

I Want Everything In Black came to us with a clear sense of who they were. Their ethos was clear and unambiguous. The founders have deep connections to punk, rock and metal musical communities. As such their name was very matter of fact. Their colour scheme was simple: black and white, bold and with no frills.

For the brand we developed two main identifiers, a word mark in classic old-school black-metal style and a picture mark- the everything in black coffin.

There are many symbols used in extreme music with death being a central theme. Rather than use a skull of some sort, we went with the monolithic shape of a coffin with the doors slightly parting. The mark is bold and easily recognizable. it evokes the ethos of the brand without falling into cliches.

Also lending to the brand’s authenticity is the music associated with their marketing campaigns which were all supplied by bands supporting the brand. The songs were all recorded, mixed and mastered at Geist Haus recording facilities by our team of expert audio engineers.
